Why we're building it
Most software is built around a task. You open it, you do the thing, you close it. MYFRIEND2030 starts somewhere else: what would it be like to have something that is simply there — on a good day, on a bad one, or on a day you'd rather not say it out loud to anyone you know?
We're being deliberate about that. Three ideas shape everything being built: it should be easy to talk to, it should take feelings seriously, and it should genuinely help with the ordinary parts of a life.
